Quick shopping for icecream and toilet paper

Ministop is Philippines answer to 7Eleven convenience store. Right next to Checkpoint a rather new branch of this mini hyper market stands on grounds that were used to be occupied by a fruit and vegetable market. It’s a bad thing for locals as it’s getting more and more difficult to buy fresh and affordable food supplies. There are no fresh vegetables at Ministop, just canned Tuna and some fried chicken beside beverages, softdrinks and condoms. Corporate profits might be big, but there is no benefit for local Filipinos.
